정조는 신하들에게 보내는 편지에 격식보다 마음을 먼저 담았습니다. 종이를 고르고, 먹을 갈고, 붓을 들어 한 자 한 자 눌러쓰는 시간. 아무마의 시즌1 '정조대왕으로부터의 편지'는 그 시간을 오늘의 사물로 옮겨온 컬렉션입니다. 실링왁스로 편지를 봉인하고, 편지지에 마음을 옮겨 적고, 서찰함에 쓰여진 시간을 담아두는 일. 쓰는 행위 자체가 다시 의례가 되기를 바라며 만들었습니다.
In his letters to his officials, King Jeongjo placed feeling before formality. The time spent choosing paper, grinding ink, and pressing each character with a brush. AMOOMA's Season 1, Letters from King Jeongjo, carries that time into objects for today. Sealing a letter with wax, setting your thoughts onto paper, keeping written time inside a wooden box. We made these so that the act of writing could become a ritual again.
